To first order, the impact of the canceled REVEL Big Bear is that fewer BQ's were generated and that affects this estimate of cutoff time moving it slightly lower than it would be if the race had taken place.

Beyond that, you are correct that the marooned entrants will want to pick up their BQ somewhere else. People who do REVEL downhills are motivated to get to Boston. So very likely these folks will show up in a later analysis wherein they use another downhill course - CIM, REVEL Mt. Charleston, Mountains 2 Beach, or one of the Tunnel/Jack and Jill Downhills, etc. - to get their BQ.

In the end I suspect it will be a wash. Those runners will end up contributing to the estimate eventually.
